Sumerian Inventions Advertisement
It’s 2700 B.C. and you are hired by a Sumerian advertising firm. Your job is to create an advertisement for one of Sumer’s most popular inventions. You have a stone tablet (or poster), and a few other rudimentary tools to create your advertisement. Thankfully, a writing system has already been developed to help you communicate your invention! (Although, we will be using English to translate, since your teacher does not have a strong command of cuneiform).
Your advertisement must:
explain how the invention helps the buyer (Ms. Pruden)
convince the buyer (Ms. Pruden) that they need to purchase the item
include a product slogan to catch the buyer’s (Ms. Pruden) interest
provide a picture of the invention
