Ancient India Comic Notes Packet (given in class)
Art Supplies
Once upon a time (like 5,000 years ago), in a land full of elephants, epic stories, and spicy food, Ancient India was vibing along the Indus River. People in the Indus Valley had fancy plumbing before it was cool—yes, toilets!
They built cities like Mohenjo-Daro with straight roads and were super into peaceful living, trading, and making seals with mysterious squiggles no one can still read. Mysterious? Totally.
Later came the Vedic Age—where everyone was chanting hymns, writing in Sanskrit, and inventing ideas like karma (what goes around, comes around) and dharma (do your job, even if it's boring).
Also, they came up with zero—yup, the actual number—because math parties were apparently a thing.
