Ancient China: Where Inventions, Noodles, and Emperors Ruled
Ancient China was the land of dynasties, dragons (mostly the myth kind), and genius inventions — like paper, kites, and noodles.
They built the Great Wall to say, “No thanks, invaders,” and had emperors who believed they had the Mandate of Heaven — basically, a divine permission slip to rule.
They loved balance (thanks, yin and yang), wrote beautifully on bamboo, and drank tea like it was a sport.
In short: wisdom, walls, and way ahead of their time.
Your group will be rotating through stations to learn about ancient China in order to create an doodle notes poster. You will be learning about the ancient civilization with the G.R.A.P.E.S. model (geography, religion, accomplishments, politics, economy and society). Stations do not need to be completed in order.
At each station, you should read the directions, follow them carefully, and complete the station tasks in a thorough and thoughtful manner.
