DAY 1
DAY 2
(Start at 0:42)
Qin Shi Huang was the first Chinese emperor of a unified China, and while not always popular, he was perhaps one of the greatest as he started the Qin Dynasty back in 221 BCE.
DAY 1-3
You will create trading cards for each of the dynasties in ancient China (Shang, Zhou, Qin and Han). Each card will have the following:
3 colored Images to accurately represent the inventions your wrote about (they must accurately look like the item from the dynasty) (up to 3 points per card)
2 Vocabulary Definitions in your own words (up to 2 points per card)
3 Inventions- be specific on the information; i.e. bronze technology doesn't tell me anything (We are in middle school so I expect more than 1-2 word answers) (up to 3 points per card)
2 Important Leaders and what they accomplished in helping/hurting their dynasty (don't just tell me they were an emperor) (up to 4 points per card)
Dynasty Map that is colored to represent the size of the dynasty with the name of the dynasty on it (up to 4 points per card)
Rule (years MUST come from the atlas, NOT Google) (up to 3 points per card)
3 Additional Facts (don't repeat what you wrote anywhere else on the paper) (no opinions) (up to 3 points per card)
Neatness (I must be able to read your writing and you should be able to color in the lines) (up to 3 points per card)
This will be graded as a project grade of 100 points. See above for individual card point values.
Day 1-2- Work on trading cards if needed
