Day 11

Today, we had to wake up early again because we had DMPC at 8:30 in the morning. After that, the Snufkin team had their technical rehearsals, where they did a quick run-through of the lighting and performed the entire show.

After the rehearsals, we had lunch, which was delicious. In the afternoon, it was the Too-Ticky team’s turn for their technical rehearsals.

Both performances are about Tove Jansson. The Too-Ticky show focuses on painting, war and escaping the real world, as these were important aspects of Tove’s life—she was a painter and lived through both World War I and World War II. In my (Manik) experience these themes play a key role in the Too-Ticky team's performance.
