Weekly News for June 7th-11th.

Hello Kindergarten Families!

COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 ...

There are only five more days of school! Please be reminded, we will have Morning Meeting each day as normal. Artists will still be having lives on Tuesday. We will NOT be having any 1:1s the final week. We will NOT be having ELA, Math, or Handwriting.

Please remember to log in to the 1/2 House Zoom for Move Up Day on Wednesday, June 9th. On that same day, at 11:45, please log in on Ms. Roundtree's site for our beach/summer celebration. Feel free to dress in your favorite summer/beach attire. (Hats, sunglasses, fun straws and lemonade, umbrellas, etc.) No swimsuits please. :) You can bring a snack or lunch as well. Important Online Learning Links

Epic is a useful online literacy learning tool that we use in Kindergarten . An email has been sent to each of you which will allow you to access this program remotely. Each child has their own account with their name on it. If you have any issues logging in from the email, please let us know.

Seesaw Reminders:

https://web.seesaw.me Once you're on the Seesaw page, click login. Next click I'm a Student, and then enter the code you were emailed into the box that says "Text Code." This should log you into your child's personal page. No one else can see it except for your K-House teachers. Here you will find some assignments we've given them. This is also where you will be able to upload your child's finished work. Please take the time to explore this site this week.

Weekly assignments are due by 11:59 PM on Sunday evening. The website will be updated with new weekly assignments on Monday morning. Assignments from the previous week will be graded in Powerschool by Tuesday morning. We are all navigating how this will work especially in Kindergarten. Currently, we are planning to have assignments submitted through Seesaw. You can upload videos, photos, documents, etc. We will also be able to see some of the assignments during one-on-one conferencing.

Q & A: Questions and Answers (A.K.A. Office Hours)
