EVIDENCE REQUIREMENTS
Refers to R&R policy to encourage the recognition of excellent performance and achievement among employees. It is linked to the HR systems, and helps achieve the Agency's strategic goals and objectives through the use of creative, flexible, and meaningful rewards.
TESDA R&R policies involve:
• Development and Implementation of the Rewards and Recognition Plan
• Institutionalization of the TESDA Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE)
• Establishment of the PRAISE Committee
Involves planning the programs and incentives to be given to offices and officials and employees who have performed well. This also includes on-the-spot recognition for exemplary behavior, customized programs for the Agency, and budgeting.
This includes:
• Preparation of the Rewards and Recognition Plan
• Preparation of Notice of Step Increment due to Meritorious Performance
Refers to the implementation of various programs and incentives whether statutory in nature or as customized by the Agency. This links R&R with the Performance Management HRM System.
This aspect involves:
• Implementation of PRAISE programs and incentives including TESDA Model Employee of the Year Award, TESDA Organizational Awards, Loyalty Award, Perfect Attendance Award, Tagsanay Award, and Retirees' Incentive
• Updating of computer-based monitoring system on Rewards and Recognition programs
