Complete and submit a Vote By Mail application. Applications are also available in Korean and Spanish. Applications for a mail-in ballot are also available in the County Clerk’s Office in Hackensack and in the Borough Clerk’s Office.
The application to Vote by Mail must be received by the County Clerk by Tuesday, September 10, if mailed there or by 3 p.m. Monday, September 16, if dropped off in-person.
Vote By Mail ballots must be returned to the county by Sept. 17 – the same day as in the in-person vote.
A Vote By Mail ballot must be postmarked; dropped in a designated ballot drop box; or delivered by hand to the County Board of Elections (One Bergen County Plaza Hackensack, NJ - Rm 310).
Vote By Mail ballots cannot be submitted at in-person polling locations.
