How To Participate In Summer Research @ Temple College
The Process:
1. Take the Research Methods course (Biol 2389) to get research foundation, preparation, and unique projects designed;
2. Work with research mentor to conduct the research during the summer;
3. Present results at TCURE Symposium and/or the Texas Academy of Science conference.
Graduating with Biological Honors
Graduating with Biological Honors
Biology majors that complete a research project with a research mentor can graduate with Biological Honors. This designation is reserved for outstanding students that want to stand above the rest, enhance their resume, and, in collaboration with their research mentor, answer biological questions that contribute to the scientific field.
