Instructor's Bio: Phyllis Mass holds an MEd from Arcadia University, a BA from Hunter College, and attended the NYC High School of Performing Arts. She is a poet, freelance writer and editor, and private writing workshop leader. Her fiction, poetry, and opinion pieces appear both online and in print. A finalist in Philadelphia’s 2006 citywide Autobiographical Project marking the tercentenary of Benjamin Franklin’s birth, Phyllis was also a finalist in the prestigious New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest.
