About Ms. McGowan

Hello, and welcome to 4th grade! This is my first year teaching in my own classroom at Temecula Preparatory School and I am so excited to continue being part of the TPS family. I've worked at TPS since 2022 starting as a substitute campus supervisor until 2024, where I worked in Student Support Services as a Paraprofessional and then took over as the long term sub for our Lower School Education Specialist. I grew up in Temecula, CA and attended TPS as a lower school student starting in fourth grade, so teaching your fourth graders here is very special to me! I received my Bachelors of Arts in Integrated Studies with a concentration in the Arts at Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, WA along with my credential. I plan to use our impactful and engaging curriculum to make learning fun and meaningful for all students. My philosophy of education is for all students to grow socially and academically in a safe, nurturing, and friendly classroom. I hold very high expectations for each student, as fourth grade is a year of independence and growth. I can't wait to be your student's teacher this year, and embark on this journey with them!
