SESSION ON FRACTIONAL ORDER CALCULUS

The evolution of Fractional Calculus from its birth with G. Leibniz and L'Hospital, around 1695, has been significative and prominent in theory and applications.  By the nature of the classical definition of derivative, it admits a lot of quantities of generalizations in the fractional order sense.

For this reason, Fractional Calculus has become an area of big interest for the Scientific Community due to wide span of uses in most areas of Science and Engineering, as it is in Mathematics, Physics, Economy, Society, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Processes, and many others.

The objective of this session is to reveal the last contributions in Fractional Calculus theory and applications.
