Today I am interviewing Skylee Peck. She is the editor of our newspaper and I asked her what she has planned for herself after high school. She told me that “I don't have a direct plan yet. I still have options of what I want to do, but I have to choose between an internship at RDO for diesel mechanics or an apprenticeship for tattooing. I don't know what one will be better at making more money and what one I will like more. I want to get a house with roommates, but my family thinks that I’m joking and won't be able to pull it off after I’m 18 so I can have the room to grow and ability to do what I want and be responsible at the same to prove them wrong and that I can be responsible.” I think it is smart to have two plans just in case the first one doesn't work out. Planning ahead is important, especially when opening a new chapter in life and becoming an adult can be stressful and filled with challenges, but if you plan right and make the right decisions, you can overcome them.
