With only a few weeks left of October, our clubs are continuing to strive for greatness. From the FFA participating in four contests at the NILE to the new Book Club starting up, our clubs are really starting to go places!

FCCLA
The FCCLA met last week and talked about the potential of hosting a clothing drive for our community. They discussed the probability of it as well as started planning the clothing drive. Alongside that, they were planning some of the activities for the Kickoff District Meeting on November 4 in Columbus as well as discussing stuff for their state convention in March.
Book Club
The Book Club had a meeting last Wednesday, October 15, where they elected a Vice President as well as starting to read their book. Our Book Club’s vice president is none other than Laura Meyer. When asked what she’s excited about within this club, she answered, “Just talking about your thoughts about a story, especially when it is someone’s real life story.”
