My name is Mrs. Guzman, and this is my 7th year in education and second year at VZG!
I received my Agricultural Education Degree from Tarleton State University. I later received my Masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas. My first year teaching I taught high school agriculture in Jacksonville, TX. After that, I taught 7th grade ELA at Rosemont Middle School in Fort Worth, TX for 4 years. Last year was my first year as a librarian at Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary.
I live in Burleson, Texas with my husband and daughter Amelia. My world resolves around my family, and they mean the world to me. I have two dogs and a cat that I treat just like my children. When I'm not spending time with my family, I love to read, binge watch movies and shows, and do all kind of crafting.
