My name is Christina Swift and I am a first year teacher! I am so excited for my new journey and I believe I have been greatly prepared. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University.

I'm from Benbrook. I'm the future "Mrs. Wyatt". I have a dog named Raja. Raja is a cute little mutt! She is the biggest, sweetest baby ever!

I love to travel and exploring different cultures! I have traveled to Costa Rica and Thailand, and I can't wait to explore other countries! I also love arts & crafts, photography, animals (especially giraffes!), being outside, and being positive!

I cannot wait to get to work with and get to know you and your child!

Glenn Smith was born and raised in Fort Worth. He has a degree in History from Texas Wesleyan University. He has worked in special education since 2004!

He is a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He is 1/4th Choctaw! So cool, right? He is also a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church.

Some of his favorite things to do are read and travel! He has some great stories about his travels and can't wait to share them with the class!

We are glad to have him back at Bruce Shulkey as he has worked at our campus before! He is excited to get to know each and every one of y'all!

Karen Sanders is from Texas and graduated from Texas Tech. She taught several years in Georgia and just moved back last fall. This is her first full year in Fort Worth ISD.

She has a wonderful husband, David, and two sweet children. Will, her son, graduated college in May and Carolyn, her daughter, is in college working on her bachelors degree.

Mrs. Sanders is very creative and loves doing arts and crafts with the kids! She is a great addition to the RISE team and she is super excited to get to know each and every one of y'all!
