Description
Money Matters will have students create new financial habits and transform the way they approach money altogether. Students will understand how to save, budget, avoid debt, spend wisely and invest. Students learn to build confidence in their own financial decision-making. Students will also understand International and Domestic Business practices. The students will also understand goods and services, economic systems, business ethics, roles of government, banking options, career plan, division and balance of power, misrepresentation and fraud.

Make-up, Late work, and Homework Policy
These will be determined per assignment and no more than 35% of the grade will be deducted, based on the students desire to complete the job assignment. Each student will be given multiple times to make up the job assignment before and after school, if you refuse to complete the job assignment you will be graded on the incomplete assignment.
We will follow the South Hills tardy policy, as well as within this classroom’s tardy policy. If you are tardy to class you will still be responsible for the Bell Ringer but you will complete that on your own time.
• Sign the Tardy Log and give reason why you are late
• 2nd Tardy is a warning
• 3rd lunch detention
• 4th tardy is a Referral
• 5th tardy is a Referral
