Teacher Bio:
Hello, my name is Vekiesha Colbert. I have been a teacher for 10 years. I have been teaching for Fort Worth ISD for ALL 10 of those years. I started at Dunbar 6th Grade Center and then transition to Dunbar Middle School also know as J. Martin Jacquet Middle School. I have done many things for Fort Worth ISD, some including but not limited to: being the Whiz Quiz Sponsor, Creating A Step Team, and being the Science Department Secretary, etc. My goal for my students is to cultivate and empower all students in a safe and nurturing environment that enables them the freedom to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
