Hi, i'm Mr. Wilks, the orchestra teacher at Rosemont and South Hills HS. I'm excited to be your music teacher this year. I'm also so glad you have made the wise decision to be a string musician! Playing music is so much fun! You can play music for the rest of your life. You might want to have music as your job someday or just play for fun. Little did I know, when I started playing music in 6th grade (just like you a lot of you), I was beginning a life long journey! I hope you enjoy playing a stringed instrument as much as me and keep playing and playing!
