Getting Started: Sign Up for a Learn Promethean Account

To complete this training, you will first need to sign up for a Learn Promethean account.

Once on that site, click "Register" and complete the steps that follow.

Your request for a Learn Promethean account will be submitted and processed by the Learn Promethean team. Please note that the request for a Learn Promethean account is handled by a vendor and not by the Fort Worth I.S.D. Educational Technology department; we will be unable to check the status of your account creation or help with password recovery if it is needed.

Once you've submitted for a Learn Promethean account, you will receive an automated email notifying you that your information was received and is being processed. Your email may be sent to your Clutter or Junk folder, so please monitor those folders as well. Processing time varies for each user; some users have reported a wait-time of up to 2 weeks for account approval while others received their account approval same-day.

You will receive an email notification when your Learn Promethean account has been approved. When you are ready, return to this page and click the direct link to the course to continue.

Getting Started: Log In to Enroll

Once you are on the course site at Learn Promethean, click the "Login to Enroll" button to register for the course. Registration for the course is automatically processed, so you will be able to immediately begin coursework.

If you were already logged in upon accessing the course site, you will see a button that says "Enroll" instead of "Login to Enroll."

Read the "Start Course" information to understand how to begin coursework and track course completion progress.

Start Course

After enrolling in the course, you will be able to click the button "Start Course" to access course materials.

The course homepage includes a course progress bar that will help you track your progress within the course.

After clicking the "Start Course" button, you will also be able to track your progress within the course content with the status bar the top of the page and each module's steps-listing:

It is important to note that you must mark each lesson "Complete" before moving to the next lesson or the course progress will not advance and your course tracker will not show your actual progress. Click "Mark Complete" for each lesson you complete:

To complete the course, you must show 100% completion on each lesson and score the labeled percentage on the end of course quiz. Once those requirements have been fulfilled, you will receive the option to download a certificate from Learn Promethean (on the course homepage).

NOTE: YOU MUST RETURN TO THIS COURSE PAGE AND SUBMIT THE CERTIFICATE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT IN EDUPHORIA. We are not able to pull records of completion from Learn Promethean, so it is the participant's responsibility to return to this page and submit their Learn Promethean certificates.
