For our webinars, attendance is auto-recorded through your FWISD Google account. You must join the webinars with your FWISD Google account and be present for 100% of the session in order to receive credit.
For our self-paced courses, attendance and credit is based on the end-of-course assessment. Self-paced courses completed through EdPuzzle require a score of 100% on the final assessment to receive credit. All other self-paced courses require a score of 80% on the final assessment.
Granting credit in Eduphoria may take up to 3-5 days . Once credit is granted, you will receive an email confirming that you have received credit for the course. At times, these Eduphoria emails end up in users' "Clutter" or "Junk/Spam" email folders; be sure to look for emails from schoolobjects as these are from Eduphoria.
There are a couple of reasons for not receiving credit for attending a webinar:
Attendance for our webinars is auto-recorded through your FWISD Google account. If you did not join the webinar with your FWISD Google account, we cannot grant you credit for attending.
You must attend 100% of the webinar session with webcam presence. If you do not attend the entire webinar, you will not receive credit.
If you completed a self-paced course through EdPuzzle, you must score 100% on the final assessment. Additionally, you need to click on the form to submit your score and request credit. You'll see the image to the right on these courses.
All other self-paced courses require a minimum score of 80% to receive credit. These are recorded automatically, and you do not need to request credit. If you did not score 80% or higher, you can retake the assessment.
If you would like to switch from flex credit to integration points, you will need to fill out the request form. Please complete the form for each course (beginning June 1, 2020) you wish to switch to integration credit. For more information on integration points, check out Integration Credit Information page.
You do not need to register for any of our EdTech self-paced courses. You can simply go to the course page, proceed through the content/steps, and take the end of course assessment. You must score 80% on the course assessment in order to receive credit (EdPuzzle courses require 100% on the final assessment). Click here to explore our self-paced course options.
All of our EdTech self-paced courses are flex credit eligible. You can find this information under the Course Overview on each self-paced course page.
The hour(s) of credit for each of our self-paced courses is listed under the Course Overview. The majority of our self-paced courses are worth one hour of credit.
In order to receive credit for the majority of our self-paced courses, you must score 80% on the assessment at the end of the course. Courses completed through EdPuzzle will require a score of 100% to receive credit. For the majority of our courses, you will see the information below at the end of the course content.

If you do not achieve the minimum required score on the quiz, you will need to retake the assessment. Refresh the course page and you will be able to take the assessment again.

You do not need to register for any of our EdTech webinars. Simply navigate to the current week of webinars on our Professional Learning site, and click on the Join Google Meet icon for the session you would like to attend. Another option is to click on the Add to My Calendar icon to add the session to your FWISD Google Calendar. The link to join is included in the calendar event. When it's time to join the session, simply navigate to the event in your Google Calendar, and click on the join link in the event.

All of our EdTech webinars are eligible for Flex elective credit.
All of our summer EdTech webinars are worth one hour of credit. The courses are eligible for flex elective credit, or you may choose to receive integration points. You can view this information for each course by going here and clicking on a course button. The level and credit hours are under each course description.
Attendance for our webinars is auto-recorded. You must join the webinar session with your FWISD Google account (ending in @teachers.fwisd.org) in order to receive credit, and you must be present for 100% of the session.
When joining one of our webinars, be sure to login to the MyFWISD portal. Navigate to our Professional Learning site, and click the Join this Meet icon for the session you would like to attend. If you saved the event to your FWISD Google Calendar, you can navigate to your Google Calendar, and click the Join Meet link within the event.
Check your Google account icon in the top right corner to verify you are in your FWISD Google account. If you are in the correct account, click Join Now. If you are not in the right account, click "Switch account" under the Google account address to switch to your FWISD Google account, then click Join Now.
