Mr. Herrera's Class
“So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.”
-- Christopher Reeve, 1996 DNC In accordance to the Texas Education Agency: Students will use a flexible range of meta-cognitive reading skills in both assigned and independent reading to understand an author’s message.
Students will then continue to apply earlier standards with greater depth in increasingly more complex texts as they become self-directed, critical readers.
