Manufacturing Technology

Manufacturing is the transformation of materials into products to meet human needs and wants. Western offers courses in Manufacturing Technology that provide students with opportunities to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to understand, use, and manage manufacturing systems. Students will understand the role of manufacturing technology in our economy; its relationship to other economic sectors; and its effect on people, society, and the environment.

James Raymond McCall Memorial Scholarship

Mr. McCall graduated from WTCS in 1935 and it was his wish that by creating a special trust fund from which scholarships could be created, deserving young people would be rewarded for Excellence in Technical Studies.

McCall Mechanical Engineering Tuition Scholarship

The McCall Mechanical Engineering Tuition Scholarship awards the amount of $2500 for a deserving student pursuing post-secondary education. The student must have demonstrated excellence in Manufacturing Technology.
