Computer Science

Western offers courses in Computer Science that provide students with knowledge, skills, and experience in software. The ICS courses give students the opportunity to develop a variety of software applications: students learn how to use computers to control physical devices, including Western’s competition robots.

Western Computer Science students have the opportunity to explore career options via companies such as Google and post-secondary institutions such as the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto. Students have the opportunity to participate in computing contests across all grades and levels.

Students learn to program in Arduino, Java and Python.
