This TDSB-supported app helps you track and manage your coursework for teachers who use Brightspace for their classes, by showing upcoming activities, deadlines, and updates for all your courses. It offers push notifications for Announcements, Grades, Quizzes, and Assignments, allows offline access to course content, and lets you join Activity Feed discussions. You can also log in to D2L Brightspace through your browser for further tasks.
This TDSB-supported app helps you track and manage your coursework in classes where your teacher uses Google Classroom by showing upcoming activities, deadlines, and updates for all your courses. It offers push notifications for deadlines and announcements posted. It allows you to upload work directly from your device to your course dropboxes, and comment on posts in the activity feed or in the assignment feedback sections.
Communicate directly with your teachers and peers with your TDSB email address. All TDSB staff and student's have email addresses that contain their first and last name (but may have a number at the end if they are not the only one with that name). You can usually find your teacher's email address on their Brightspace or Google Classroom, or it may be written on your timetable. Teacher's email addresses will end in @tdsb.on.ca, and student's email address will end in @student.tdsb.on.ca.

This app (no desktop version) allows students to view their timetable and school schedule as it changes day-to-day and semester-to-semester, including any special schedules like late starts or assembly schedules. This is the best place to check if you're unsure what class you have next!

Google Keep is a TDSB-approved, straightforward and visually appealing app for quick note-taking and reminders. With its emphasis on simplicity, students can create color-coded notes, lists, and voice memos. Integration with your student account Google Drive allows for seamless access and sharing of notes, making it a handy tool for quick organization and collaboration.
Google Calendar is a TDSB-approved and essential tool for time and task management, offering students a structured way to organize their schedules and deadlines, and personal lives outside of school! It allows for easy creation of events, reminders, and recurring tasks, all of which can be synced across devices.
Evernote is a versatile note-taking app that excels in organizing and syncing notes across multiple devices. It allows students to create text notes, attach files, and use a web clipper to save online resources. The app's tagging and notebook system helps keep study materials organized, making it easy to retrieve and review information quickly.
Office Lens is a powerful app that turns your smartphone into a portable scanner, ideal for capturing handwritten notes, whiteboard discussions, and printed handouts from your teachers. Need to upload a hand written assignments to a digital classroom? Use this app instead of taking a photo of your work to make things more easy to read and more professional looking!

It also includes educational content about reproductive health and lifestyle adjustments, making it a valuable tool for students looking to manage their menstrual health while integrating self-care practices into their daily routine.
NoScroll is an app designed to help Android users avoid mindless scrolling on their mobile devices by blocking access to "scrollable" content such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube shorts by manually overriding and closing them when they are opened, but still allowing users to access their DMs and other features of the app. NoScroll encourages more intentional use of technology and helps users stay focused on their tasks.
