Where do I find information about the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)?
For general information about the OSSLT, please visit the EQAO website.
Students who are eligible to write the OSSLT in the 2021-2022 school year received an email to their TDSB student email accounts the week of October 11, 2021 with details about the OSSLT. Families were also sent an email.
Students can also refer to the Brightspace shell called "Support for the 2021-2022 OSSLT". We encourage all eligible students to register for three virtual OSSLT support workshops being offered in the last two weeks of October 2021. More details can be found in Brightspace.

How do I reset my password?
Secondary students can quickly, easily and securely reset their one TDSB password directly on the login page of many online tools, including Brightspace and Zoom. Once registered, students will be able to use security questions, email, phone, text message or an “authenticator” smartphone app, to validate their password reset requests. How do I find out if a book I want to borrow is in the JPCI collection?
The Search Catalogue feature on the TDSB Virtual Library website allows you to search for books and resources in your local school library. Select John Polanyi Collegiate Institute from the drop down menu on the top left hand side of the screen on the Search Catalogue page before searching by title or author, etc.
What do I do if I need a device for remote learning?
