The fundamental purpose of the business studies program is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to achieve success in secondary school, the workplace, post-secondary education, and daily life.  Business Studies courses at West Humber C.I. provide our students with a focus on experiential learning.  Our courses are fully taught in computer labs using the latest technology available.

The Business Studies Department will help build a strong foundation for those who wish to move on to further studies and training in specialized areas such as accounting, management, international business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and information technology. Business Studies build on skills in communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and decision making.

West Humber C. I. offers a Business Studies Certificate of Endorsement upon graduation to students who complete 5 business courses.
