"Public Health in the Social and Educational Space — Challenges in Emergency Situations and Prospects for Development"

INFORMATIVE LETTER

Dear colleagues!

On September 25-26, 2024, Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine together with the Akkon University of Human Sciences, Berlin, and the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine will hold the SIXTH INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM "Public Health in the Social and Educational Space — Challenges in Emergency Situations and Development Prospects" at the Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The symposium is included in the Register of Congresses, Symposia and Scientific and Practical Conferences to be held in 2024 by Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Given the war in Ukraine and the extension of martial law in the fall of 2024, the symposium is planned to be held online.

MAIN SCIENTIFIC DIRECTIONS OF THE SYMPOSIUM

1. Public health in Ukraine in the context of emergencies — current challenges and prospects for development.

2. 25-year anniversary of the Bulletin of Social Hygiene and Healthcare Organization of Ukraine.

3. Scientific basis for the formation of strategic decisions in the field of public health.

4. Educational activities in the field of public health and training of public health professionals.

5. Management in the healthcare system and public health.

6. The concept of a healthy lifestyle and health promotion.

7. Public health at the global, national and regional levels.

8. Health economics and principles of sustainable development of society: why it is profitable to invest in human and national health.

9. Patient safety, diagnostic errors at different levels of medical care.

10. Communicable and non-communicable diseases and their impact on public health.

11. Interdisciplinary and intersectoral cooperation in the field of public health.

12. Problems of staffing in the field of public health.

13. Legal and ethical principles of public health.
