Adam Stork

 Adam Stork graduated from Taylorville High School in 1995. He lettered in basketball three years, 1993, 1994 and 1995. While playing at Taylorville High School, the Tornadoes won 46 games versus 35 losses picking up an Apollo Conference Championship in 1993 and Regional Championship in 1995.    Stork is currently the eleventh single season scoring leader at THS with 508 points (18.2 ppg average) set in 1995 and is 23rd all-time leading scorer with a career total of 834 points. As a junior, he set the Taylorville single game scoring record with 44 points against the Springfield Senators in a 107 -95 Tornado win. In that game, Stork was 18 for 21 from the field and 8 for 11 from the free throw line. As a senior, Stork challenged that record with 39 points against Springfield Southeast which also placed him in a third place tie on the single game scoring list.    Adams Stork was a Central State 8 Conference honorable mention selection in 1994 and a first team All -Conference selection in 1995. The Decatur Herald and Review chose him for their All Area Team in 1995 and he was selected to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All State Team.    Following graduation, Stork played basketball at Aurora University during the 1995-96 season.
