Lacy (Moy) Dively

Dr. Lacey Dively Moy graduated from Taylorville High School in 2001. She earned varsity letters three years in softball, two years in basketball and two years in volleyball. A varsity regular in volleyball during her junior and senior seasons, Dively was selected team captain her senior year and earned MVP honors her senior season. She also earned all CS8 Academic Team honors both years. Following her senior season, Dively Moy was recognized and received the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award. In 2000 and 2001 Dively Moy was a starter on the Lady Tornadoes basketball team being selected as captain for her senior season. Softball, however, was the sport that Lacey Dively Moy excelled. Considered by many as one of the best all softball player to wear the purple and gold at THS, she earned Central State Eight All Conference honors each of her three years on the varsity. As a sophomore she pitched a perfect game against Shelbyville. Another no-hitter was tossed during her junior year and she was selected to the Decatur Herald and Review All Area Team. As a senior she won 24 games (the first 20 game-winner in school history) against only four losses. She pitched two perfect games, had 0.64 earned run average and amassed a career total of 558 strike outs. On the offensive side of the plate Dively Moy drove in 29 runs her senior yea.

Following High School, Dively Moy played softball one year at St Louis University where she was used as a relieve pitcher. She then transferred to Millikin University where she not only pitched, but played both second base and the outfield for the Big Blue. She was twice named Miles Chevrolet Player of the Week and was also selected as CCIW Pitcher of the Week. She set two offensive records her senior year with three doubles in a game and twice recorded two home runs in a game. She was select to the CCIW Conference All Conference team in both 2004 and 2005.

Lacey Dively Moy completed her Doctorate in Family Medicine in 2009 from Rush Medical School in Chicago and she currently practices in Pontiac, Illinois.
