Steve Dilley

Steve Dilley, a 1987 THS graduate, was a three year letter winner on the Tornado soccer team, lettered in baseball in 1986 and 1987 and was a two year letter winner and team captain of the Tornadoes basketball team. In basketball, he earned team MVP honors, was the team’s leading scorer and was selected to the Apollo Conference All- Conference First Team in 1987.  During his senior year, he also collected all tournament first team honors at the Charleston and Litchfield Tournaments. Following graduation, Dilley attended Lincoln Land Community College where he was selected team captain and was chosen to play in the Illinois State Junior College All-Star Game in 1989. Dilley became a high school basketball  coach, first serving as an assistant coach at Pawnee and Taylorville High Schools and then being named Varsity Head Coach at Buffalo Tri-City in 2004 - 2005. He also coached Soccer for nine years and softball for three years. He continues as Tri-City’s basketball coach in his 14th year as head coach.
