Teacher Bio
Although I started out as a substitute way back when, and spent several years as a teacher assistant, this will be my 17th year of certified teaching. I've joined the TC family this year and am very excited to be here teaching 4th grade!
After several moves to various states over the years, I am happy to say my husband and I have finally settled in Sapphire. It's been a blessing to know we have our family fairly close, as our eldest son, daughter-in-law, and grandson are in Franklin, and our younger son is in Clayton. Fay, our little rat terrier mix, is a senior now, but still has some feisty moments.
Some of the things I enjoy doing are reading, gardening, and sewing. I love nature and really appreciate seeing so much of it while hiking. That's why this area is so beautiful!
