 I enjoy teaching children how to read and write. I also enjoy watching children develop confidence in themselves and have being able to make a difference in the lives of students every day. I look forward to being part of a team that guides young learners to success.

I married my husband John in July of 2020. We had a small COVID wedding in our backyard (which everyone still raves about). We have a Border Terrier named Ginger who has us trained. 

My favorite color is purple. I love eating dessert (I have a sweet tooth). I enjoy reading (especially history and biographies), scrapbooking, kayaking, hiking and just being outside when we can. 

We are excited to make Transylvania County our home. We like the mountains, the engaging community and the small town feel.
