I started my educational journey at Blue Ridge Community College. I obtained my A.A. and transferred to Western Carolina University. I graduated in 2018 with a double major in History and Social Sciences. I did my internship at Rosman High School for one year. I was able to return back to RHS to work at this wonderful school.

I deeply love history and have admired the subject since elementary school. I am married to my wonderful wife Kara, a huge Baltimore Raven fan, and have a slight corgi obsession. In addition to teaching, I am a CrossFit Coach in our local gym in Brevard NC. I have been coaching for over eight years now and enjoy every moment of it. Transylvania County has a special place in my heart and I am so very fortunate to work at Rosman High School.
