Officer Bio

My name is Officer Brittain, I am a Transylvania County Native. I began my law enforcement career in May 2009 with the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office as a Detention Officer. 

I  advanced and was promoted to rank of Corporal in 2014 and was sent to Basic Law Enforcement School , where I was then promoted to Sergeant in the jail. 

I then transferred to patrol as a patrol officer in 2017. In December of 2023, I accepted a position as SRO and was placed at Rosman Elementary. I look forward to this new adventure, and enjoy working with the kids. 

My goal is to make this school a safe environment for all kids and staff to come and learn.
