Virtual students will login each day to their appropriate LMS: Google Classroom for grades K-6 and Canvas for grades 7-12. All completed assignments must be uploaded by the student in the LMS no later than 9:00 p.m. each day.  Remember - attendance is two parts: verified attendance and instructional minutes. If a virtual student completes the assigned work, he/she is considered present. If they logged in but didn't complete the work, they are absent. The default "present" attendance will be changed to "absent" on the day after.

Virtual students will physically attend school on Fridays. They will report at 8:30 a.m. Tests/Projects will be completed at that time. Teachers can also provide needed remediation. Virtual students will leave upon completion and may have a virtual assignment when they get home. 

Zoom (live video conference) will not be used as part of the daily instruction. Teachers will include videos of themselves demonstrating and explaining concepts and lessons that will be taught in the classroom. They will also supplement with other video resources as needed. Parents and students can schedule a time to live zoom with a teacher if further instruction is needed.
