I LOVE to read and I am excited to share so many wonderful stories with you. 4th Grade is a magical year as students are old enough to truly be involved in novel studies, but still love picture books! To start off our year we will be reading, "Fourth Grade Rats" by Jerry Spinelli. We will also spend time discovering our reading identity by creating our book wish lists, participating in a book tasting (think cafe, but ordering from different genres), and remembering how to close read!

Welcome to our History page! This year you'll be learning tons of interesting facts about how and why Wyoming came to be a State. We'll learn about the Mountain Men, the Oregon Trail, the Gold Rush, Western Expansion, Manifest Destiny, the Transcontinental Railroad, Boom Towns and so much more! We'll even learn about the economy of our town, state, and region. What's economy anyways? We'll learn that too! So get ready and hold on tight because where we're going there are no roads...Back to the future!
