The awesome thing about a choice board is every child can choose their own summer adventure!
We are so excited that your reader will be participating in Clift's first Virtual Summer Camp featuring Capstone.
There is something for everyone and every age, so please make sure your learners choices match their age and grade. We hope your child has an amazing summer with Clift's Virtual Summer Camp featuring Capstone. And have fun as a family too!
***Note some choice boards contain multimedia books with informational videos. We recommend that parents/guardians look through the choice boards and reading material beforehand .
See Parent Square message from principal for a webpage link which contains logins, passwords and a choice board with STEM activities and extra chances to win prizes!

Prevent the Summer Learning Slide
Students can lose academic knowledge and skills, especially in reading, during vacations. Clift's Library has online resources to help scholars continue to read and learn. In addition to the programs below, the librarian has located or created items with a few other ideas. SEE CLIFT'S VIRUTAL CAMP (above) FOR MORE CHANCES TO WIN PRIZES!
Complete one row or the entire Bingo card. Return it to the librarian in August for a special prize. Use the resources below to finish the Bingo cards. Don't have a printer, no problem. Just write down the squares you complete on a piece of paper.
Summer Reading Programs
These are a few reading programs to help encourage your scholars to continue reading over the summer. Each offers different types of incentives to reward your reader for their efforts. The school and the district do not recommend one program over another. The links are to some of the more well-known (Sims Library, Scholastic, Barnes & Noble, Pizza Hut, H.E.B., Chuck E. Cheese, Reading Is Fundamental,) which are provided for your convenience. Parents should select the program that works best for their child.
