Get in on breaking out and discover why digital breakouts aren't just a fun new trend, but are a way to really amp up learning and your elementary students' collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking skills.
What is a Digital Breakout?
A Digital Breakout is an escape-box type experience (BreakoutEDU) which uses a Google Form and Google Site with digital clues instead of locks and physical clues. Word, Number, Direction and many other types of locks are the questions on a Google Form. Turning the box from pink to white means you have solved the puzzle and opened the "lock."
How does it work?
A Digital Breakout is housed on a webpage with images, text, and hyperlinks. Students use the information to solve digital puzzles. These puzzles are set as Google Form questions with response validation. Unless you provide the exact content, the question does not unlock. And you will not be able to submit the form unless the correct content is entered.
