Three wheel spinners : character, setting, and plot!
By: Tony Vincent
Tony also suggests that you can use the story spinner for Spooky Computer Generated illustrations!
What’s scarier than drawing your own illustrations? Asking an artificial intelligence to generate them for you! An AI text-to-image generator can create art from the text you enter. There are image generators in Canva and Adobe Express for students to use. Teachers can use sites like Microsoft Designer and Ideogram.
The add-on or feature in Canva that allows you to bulk create designs is called "Bulk Create".
Key points about Canva's Bulk Create feature:
It's an app within Canva that can be found under the "Apps" section in the Design Editor.
Bulk Create allows you to quickly create multiple variants of a design using data from a CSV file or manually entered table.
It's a Canva Pro feature, meaning it's only available to users with a paid Canva Pro subscription.
Steps to use Bulk Create
Set up your design template (certificate) first
Make sure you clicked into your certificate
Search for the Bulk Create app from the Apps section
Add your data: enter or upload your data
Right click and connect the data fields to elements in your design (I believe you need 2 fields of data - because I tried with one and it did not work)
Continue
Click the Generate # designs (purple button)

Bruce takes the cake with a Suno song for Katie!
Here are my two Suno songs:
Suno uses a credit-based system for generating music. Here's how the credits work:
Free users:
Receive 50 free credits daily
Credits reset at the start of each day
Each song typically costs around 5-10 credits
This allows for creating approximately 5-10 songs per day
Subscription plans:
Pro Plan ($10/month): 2,500 credits per month
Premier Plan ($30/month): 10,000 credits per month
Credits for subscription plans reset on the same day each month as the original subscription date
Lauren Heil, a Learning Experience Designer with a background in graphic design and art direction, created Stickity, a free add-on for Google Slides and Docs. Her inspiration came from recognizing the power of visual aids in education, particularly for students with disabilities and English language learners.
Heil's goal was to develop a tool that would:
Remove learning barriers
Enhance classroom communication
Support differentiated instruction
By integrating digital stickers into commonly used platforms, Stickity aims to improve student comprehension and engagement. Heil's creation reflects her commitment to leveraging technology and design to create more inclusive and effective learning experiences.
Lesson plan includes portmanteaus, compound words, and hyphenated words which leads to a Six Word Story.
