Within the Wings’ Shadows is an original play about Charlie's descent into loneliness, and the effort it takes to be in relationships with others. Charlie goes through life looking for people to connect with to fill the emptiness inside of him. At first his brother Oli suffices, but as he grows older Charlie pushes him away and resorts to toxic friendships and unhealthy relationships. When hit with the fleeting nature of life, he comes to realize that it takes effort to connect with others and that connection is the key to contentment. We invite our audience to reflect on their lives and contemplate the importance of healthy relationships.
