Thinking about who you are and who God calls you to be, it is very important to take care of yourself.
Self-care is an important part of daily life that promotes health and wellness. Learn more about yourself and discover what helps you feel good by examining the infographic: “Self-Care 101”

A. Select 2 self-care tips from the Self-Care Infographic or checklist and describe how you will incorporate them in your daily routine.
B. Document your feelings and goals in a google document and save it to your drive or in a notebook.
C. Talk about what you have learned by sharing your journal with your parent(s)/ guardian(s). You will also have an opportunity to share with your teacher and classmates.
Using the Show What You Know Student Choice Board below, create a SELF CARE/MENTAL HEALTH document by posting 1 self care tip/idea. Include pictures, quotes, facts, statistics or other important information to create a very informative SELF CARE document.
You will share with and learn from your classmates to achieve your self-care goals. Be prepared to share as classes begin next week.
Use a visual schedule, visual supports, and the first-then strategy to assist with organizing the day.
Support written text with visuals (pictures).
Check for understanding by asking your child to repeat instructions.
Give breaks when needed. Space activities during the day to provide for optimal participation. Use a visual timer to assist with task completion.
