I use big data and cutting edge analytics to study the effect of human-modified landscapes on wildlife and the natural environment. I develop bespoke simulations & statistical models with high-frequency longitudinal spatial data to inform evidence-based management of natural resources, disease transmission, human-wildlife conflict and the development of new infrastructure within planning legislation. These analysis are communicated to stakeholders to protect their interests and boost management productivity and reported in scientific manuscripts to disseminate the work to a wider audience.
I work at both the front end (ecological services consultancy) and back end (ecological academic research) of ecological science, to develop and deploy data-driven solutions for clients and stakeholders to achieve their goals in the most efficient way possible.
