TCAPS Hour of CODE + Computer Science Week - December 4-10, 2023

TCAPS Hour of Code + Computer Science Week is an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity in computer science education, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.

We want students to know that computer science is not just about coding but it's also about helping them understand computer science's ethical, social, economic, and environmental implications. We recognize those whose work has contributed and harnessed the good in computer science while encouraging classroom discussion and debate around the nuances of both intended and unintended impacts. 

The 2024 TCAPS Hour of Code + Computer Science Week will help students uncover the joy of learning computer science by inspiring them to explore, play, and create with CS.
