School Educational Change

This website provides public access to resources from School Change (C&T 5004) a long-running course at Teachers College, Columbia University, developed by Thomas Hatch. It was adapted originally by Linda Darling-Hammond, co-founder of NCREST who based it on a related course created originally by Ted Sizer, founder of the Coalition of Essential Schools. The course and the website seek to help people from many different backgrounds develop their capacity to contribute productively to the design, development, and improvement of learning opportunities in a variety of educational contexts. This site also serves as a hub where current students and course alumni can get access to student work from their class.
