The Municipal Budget Office, as provided for in Section 475 of the Local Government Code of 1991, is mandated to provide the delivery of basic services relative to local budget administration including budget processes and policies, directions and priorities governing effective fiscal discipline, proper allocation and mobilization of available resources and effective management of public expenditures

Prepare LFC Certification of Reprogramming/ Realignment
Prepare Annual Supplies Procurement Plan (ASPP) and Project Procurement Plan (PPMP)
Prepare LGU Integrated Financial Tools (LIFT) quarterly
Record/Control Obligation Requests (OR) Purchase Requests (PR) as to the existence of appropriation
Review supporting documents of vouchers
Check balances of appropriations of different offices
Act as custodian of all records and documents of the office and maintain a systematic record safe keeping
Prepare purchase requests
Take custody of all supplies and properties of the office
