How to sign in irs.gov/payments to Pay?

1. Open "irs.gov/payments".

2. Under the section Sign In to Pay, click on "Go yo your account" button.

3. Now, click on "Sign into your online account".

4. Sign in with your ID.me account.

5. Choose the Payment option.

6. Enter personal information such as your Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN), your tax year.

7. Follow the on-screen instructions.

8. Submit your payment.

How to get tax record?

To obtain your tax records, including transcripts or copies of your tax returns, you may need to use the "Get Transcript" tool on the IRS website.

• Visit the official website "irs.gov/payments".

• From the section, How can we help you click on "Get your tax record".

• This will provide you two options: 

  • Get Transcript Online

  • Get Transcript by Mail

• Select the type of transcript you need.

• Sign in with your account.

• Follow the prompts to verify your identity. 

• Once your identity is verified, you should be able to view and download your tax transcript.
