13^th Annual Tawas Turkey Trot| East Tawas Michigan |FRIDAY, November 29th, 2019

5K to support Tawas Area Cross Country Team

Registration: $20.00 - Early Registration (received by 11/22)

$25.00 after 11/22 - Entrants receive custom neck gaiter as supplies last.

Location: Start is at the East Tawas Community Center finish is Newman Street & Westover, downtown East Tawas, before the start of the parade.

Race: 5K run/walk start time is after the “Little Turkey Trot” 400 M race at 4:00 p.m.

Medals to top male and female finishers in each age group. (Under 18, 18-30, 31-45, 46-60, 61+)

Little Turkey Trot: 400 M sprint. Will be run before the start of the 5K. – No entry fee

Course: The race begins at the East Tawas Community Center., with a loop around Bolen Park. The course winds through the residential area of town and through Dewey Durant park. It is street surface and grass. The course continues onto Franklin Street & then finishes on Newman St at the corner of Westover, in front of the Christmas Tree. Start and finish are 8 blocks apart. There is parking in between, along Newman Street and in public lots. Restrooms/ locker rooms are available at the start & a warming area at the finish.

Reflective clothing, costumes, and lights are encouraged.
