Welcome to a new school year! This week, we'll focus on building classroom routines and beginning Unit 1: Integers. Students will set up their interactive math notebooks, learn classroom expectations, and begin exploring integers, additive inverses, and absolute value. As the week progresses, we'll use number lines, rules, and visual models to add and subtract integers. Students will also complete the i-Ready Math Diagnostic, which helps identify their current skill level so instruction can be tailored to their individual needs.
