STANDARD: 7.NR.3
This week, students will begin working with inequalities! We’ll start by learning how to solve and graph one-step inequalities, including how to use open and closed circles on a number line. Next, we’ll move into two-step inequalities and learn the important rule for reversing the inequality symbol when multiplying or dividing by a negative number. Students will then practice writing, solving, and graphing inequalities from real-world situations before finishing the week with a review and quiz.

ASSIGNMENTS:
This week, students will explore limiting factors, carrying capacity, terrestrial biomes, and aquatic ecosystems. We will also investigate how disease, climate, resource availability, and human activities can impact populations and ecosystems with a Quick Check (quiz) on Friday.

STANDARD: SS7E4 – Analyze different economic systems and compare the economic systems of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
ASSIGNMENTS:
Students will review traditional, command, and market economies and learn how countries can have a mixed economic system. We will compare the economic systems of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey and use an economic continuum to see where each country falls.
HOMEWORK:
