58 – Muḥammad b. Muslim said: I said to him: The middle prayer (al-ṣalāh al-wusṭā)?

He said: “Watch over the prayers and the middle prayer and stand obedient to God” (2:238) and the middle is ẓuhr. And the Messenger of God صلى الله عليه وآله used to recite it thus.

59 – Muḥammad b. Muslim said: I asked him about the mouth-rinsing and nose-rinsing.

He said: They are from what the Prophet

60 – Muḥammad b. Muslim said: I asked him about the prayer over the dead.

He said: You begin with sending benedictions upon the Prophet الله صلى الله عليه وآله for he has more right than the deceased to be sent benedictions upon, and supplicate for yourself and for the men and women believers, and seek forgiveness for the deceased if you knew him, and if you did not know him then say: O God we did not know but good from him while you know him most. And there is no recitation in it and no taslīm.
